The Snead State Community College men's basketball team started the season off Friday with a 92-71 win over Volunteer State.
Sophomore Christian Wilson-Poole had 24 points in the game, three rebounds, three assists and three steals. Freshman Jason King contributed 18 points.
Hunter Preston had five rebounds for Snead State and scored eight points.
Both Poole and Preston contributed as freshmen to Snead State's championship season. The Parsons defeated Coastal Alabama in the ACCC/Region XXII Tournament to capture the crown last season.
