Saints Sweep the Day

The Saints coming off a 3-set loss to Eastern Florida State College swept Enterprise State and Snead State on Friday afternoon.
In the first match of the day the Saints swept the host of the tri-match, Enterprise State, by scores of 25-19, 25-20, and 25-20. Kierston Giesey led the way for the Saints with 13 kills, a season-high. Behind her, it was Mariana Haas with 10 kills, as she continues to impress in her freshman campaign. Maria Contreras totaled four blocks at the net defensively.
The Saints then got back on the floor for their second match of the day. SF was able to stay hot and sweep Snead State by scores of 27-25, 25-18, and 25-16. In the second match of the day Haas paced the offense with 12 kills, while Kailyn Howard finished with nine. Giesey and Linnea Preston both finished with five kills, as Giesey has come on down the stretch when the Saints needed it. Preston totaled a season-high six blocks.
The Saints are back in action Monday against Daytona State at 6:00 PM ET.
