Snead State Competes in ACCC Volleyball Tournament at Sand Mountain Park
The ACCC Volleyball Tournament will be held Friday, Nov. 1-Sunday, Nov. 3, at Sand Mountain Park in Albertville. Snead State enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed in the North division.
The Snead State Community College Lady Parsons Volleyball Team will compete in the Alabama Community College Conference Volleyball Tournament in Albertville this weekend.
The ACCC Volleyball Tournament will be held Friday, Nov. 1-Sunday, Nov. 3, at Sand Mountain Park in Albertville. Snead State enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed in the North division. The tournament seed includes:
NORTH
1. Wallace State Community College
2. Calhoun Community College
3. Snead State Community College
4. Southern Union State Community College
SOUTH
1. LB Wallace Community College
2. Enterprise State Community College
3. Coastal Alabama Community College-North
4. Bishop State Community College
Snead State's first tournament match will be Friday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m. at Court 2 in the Fitness Center at Sand Mountain Park. They will face off against Enterprise State. Admission is $15 per day or $30 for a weekend pass (available Friday). Admission is free for children aged 5 and under.
The Lady Parsons, led by Head Coach Cristie Brothers and Assistant Coach Taylor Spradley, completed the regular season with a 24-14 overall record. The team's conference record is 8-4 with wins over Lawson State, Gadsden State, Wallace-Hanceville, Bevill State, and Southern Union.

The winner of the ACCC Tournament will advance and host the NJCAA South District Championship on Nov. 9 against the champion of Region 23 (Mississippi).
