The Parsons have swept a pair from Cleveland (TN) State during the season's first nine days. Snead opened the season with a 71-52 win over the Cougars on Nov. 1 and then a 74-65 win in Cleveland Nov. 9.
Snead also picked up a 90-88 win over Roane State in Harriman, Tenn., on Nov. 3, a 74-65 home win over Chattanooga State on Nov. 5 and a 95-70 win over Southern Crescent Technical College Monday.
Through four games, the Parsons have four players averaging in double figures in scoring.
Freshman Zawdie Jackson, Jr. from Stone Mountain, Ga., leads the team averaging 18.3 points per game. He had a season high 28 in the win over Chattanooga State.
Sophomore Jay Jefferson from Eatonton, Ga., is second on the team scoring 14 per game, including a high of 15 in the win at Cleveland State.
Statesboro, Ga., sophomore Pierles Brown scored a team-high 20 in the road win over Roane State and is averaging 12 per game.
Sophomore Jadakiss Anderson from Greenville is averaging 10 points per game. He led the Parsons with 17 in the win at Cleveland.
Atlanta, Ga. sophomore Zack Mackson is averaging 7.8 points per game, including 14 at Roane State and 13 versus Chattanooga State.
Sophomore Micah Hodges from Carrolton, Ga. leads the team in rebounding, pulling down 6.5 boards per game. He had eight rebounds in the home win over Chattanooga State and the road win at Cleveland State.
There are two Marshall County natives on the team - sophomore Blake Kelly from Arab and freshman Jay Jones from Asbury.
The Parsons play at Wallace State Selma Thursday. The next home game will be Monday, Nov. 22 as they host Coastal Alabama-North.
