Snead Wins over Calhoun
Wright's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending

- Snead State Community College seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off double at the end of the game to topple Calhoun CC. The game was tied at two with Snead State batting in the top of the seventh when Madison Wright doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
- The pitching was strong on both sides. Madison Wright struck out eight, while Calhoun CC pitchers sat down three.
- Snead got things moving in the first inning. Molly Pendley hit a solo homer.
- In the bottom of the fourth inning, Calhoun CC tied things up at two. Alex Ritter drove in one when Ritter doubled.
- Wright was the winning pitcher for Snead State The lefthander went seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits, striking out eight and walking zero.
- Sydney Hall took the loss for Calhoun CC. Hall surrendered zero runs on two hits over one inning, walking zero.
- Snead State smacked two home runs on the day. Pendley had a dinger in the first inning. Blakley Burr had a four bagger in the third inning.
- Snead State racked up seven hits on the day. Burr and Chloe Chisenall each racked up multiple hits for Snead Chisenall and Burr each collected two hits to lead the Lady Parsons. Snead was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Zoe Payne made the most plays with nine.
- Kailey Vaughn went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Calhoun CC in hits. Calhoun CC was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Emma Bailey had the most chances in the field with five.
