North Division No. 1 seed Shelton State of Tuscaloosa crushed North No. 5 seed Snead State 92-46 on Wednesday afternoon in the women’s quarterfinals of the ACCC Basketball Tournament at Lawson State.

Sophomore guard Catlin Carter from Ramsay in Birmingham was the only Snead State player to receive postseason recognition from the Alabama Community College Conference.

The Snead State women’s basketball team earned the No. 5 seed in the North Division and will travel to South Division No. 4 seed Wallace-Selma for a play-in game Saturday at 2 p.m.
