Snead State Takes Second in ACCC Tournament

For a second year in a row, the Snead State women’s golf team earned a bid to the NJCAA National Tournament by finishing second in the ACCC/NJCAA Region 22 Tournament. For a second year in a row, the Snead State women's golf team earned a bid to the NJCAA National Tournament by finishing second in the ACCC/NJCAA Region 22 Tournament.

Snead State shot 776. The tournament was held at Cross Creek Golf Course in Cullman. The Parsons finished 98 strokes behind Wallace State Community College.

Calhoun Community College finished third in the tourney, followed by Marion Military, Northeast Alabama and Jefferson State.

This is the second season for women's golf at Snead State.

Brooke Harmon, a native of Morristown, Tenn., led the Parsons, carding a 177 (86-91). She was also named to the All-Tournament team.

The Lady Parsons will travel to Mesa, Ariz., May 14-17 for the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament.
