North No. 4 seed Snead State’s run of upsets in the men’s ACCC/Region XXII Basketball Tournament ended Friday night, as the Parsons fell to North No. 1 seed and host Shelton State 72-68 in the championship game at the Umphrey Center.

A 60-49 win over Bevill State is sending the Snead State Parsons back to the ACCC/NJCAA Region XXII Men's Divison Championship game for the first time since 2018.

It was a defensive battle turned offensive shootout at the Umphrey Center in Tuscaloosa as the fourth-seeded Snead State Parsons took down the no. 1 seed Wallace-Selma Patriots 73-67 Wednesday in overtime of the quarterfinals of the ACCC/NJCAA Region XXII Division I basketball tournament.
